The ETH board leads the ETH domain strategically as a supervision organ. It assigns the means to the institutions within the frame given by politics and administers the real estates. Apprenticeship, research and technology transfer in the service of the society belong to the order of the ETH domain. In the energy domain the most important higher aims are a care security, minimisation of the negative effects on person and environment as well as economical use. Tension fields with synergy and conflict potential arise from it. The ETH area develops and optimises his proposals in each case with look at the overall system.
