The program P+D CONSTRUCTIONS BASEL for the promotion of forward-looking construction projects and sustainable solutions in the construction supports financially and functional exemplary, innovative and sustainable solutions. In spring, 2005 the parliament of the canton of Basel-Stadt granted a loan of 1.6 million Swiss Francs for both main areas of construction and mobility for the next four years. Novatlantis supports the projects with the financing of concomitant studies.

More and more builders and experts take note of the vision of in 2000-watt society and try to incorporate concrete measures into their projects. Pilot projects and demonstration projects (P+D) shoud help as good examples for sustainable construction to become standard and to develop Basel to one of the leading cities of sustainable construction.
