The canton Basel city and the ETH-domain are working together at demonstrating the future of zero-emission hydrogen mobility. The long-term goal of this partnership is a transfer to an environmentally friendly, comfortable and economically-agreeable mobility system. For this, a mix of technology is needed that fixes the path from todays available environmentally friendly technologies to the first of many hydrogen-fuelled automobiles in the future. The feasibility of such a technology's portfolio in every day life is explored and demonstrated in the "2000-watt society - Basel pilot region".
